I've been looking in my stash and now I'm wondering how this dark violet yarn would look paired with some lavender fingering yarn. Now, if I could just figure out what I did with the other 4 or 5 skeins I should have. They're not where I'd think they'd be. I'm sure I hoping I didn't give them away.Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-38407861053328378542018-01-08T11:14:37.966-05:002018-01-08T11:14:37.966-05:00I'm so sorry you have an owie - that's bey...I'm so sorry you have an owie - that's beyond upsetting when it affects your ability to do the things you enjoy. Taking a few days off and resting it might be a good thing. Maybe, though, it took note of your plans to de-stash and is pitching a fit at the thought? Your projects are wonderful - I especially love the square pattern.Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-83107650194947262652018-01-08T09:37:56.511-05:002018-01-08T09:37:56.511-05:00Becki, you amaze me with your idea to wrap 2 yarns...Becki, you amaze me with your idea to wrap 2 yarns together. I never come up with thoughts like that. I would have given the yarn awah lol. That being said, the cowl is perfect with the dual colorway. Your color block scarf looks warm and inviting. Your new pillow square looks complicated to me. But if you say it is easy, I will trust you.

Ganglion cysts can be quite painful. Especially when inflamed. Take some anti-inflammatory meds (advil, motrin) if you can and rest it for a few days. Your Dr can help you make it better without surgery too. Hope it feels better in a few days.Leftycrafterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07607852055622555069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-67043375508471390962018-01-07T17:51:44.498-05:002018-01-07T17:51:44.498-05:00Thank you, Lynn.Thank you, Lynn.Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-80042538808048674172018-01-07T17:50:03.114-05:002018-01-07T17:50:03.114-05:00I think I may have created my wrist problem with a...I think I may have created my wrist problem with all the crocheting I've done (or at least exacerbated something that was already happening). Yes, this is the type of cyst I think I have. I'm pretty willing to try home treatments, but I don't have the nerve to try to hit it with something. It hurts just to press on it. It's also very close to a blood vessel and well... I just don't think that's a good idea at all. lol I wonder how many people actually did this "hit-it-with-a-book" treatment, and who lived (or didn't live) to regret it. We don't hear those stories... ;^)Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-83981687827101185492018-01-07T17:45:40.294-05:002018-01-07T17:45:40.294-05:00Thank you, Una.Thank you, Una.Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-25649174096130331582018-01-07T17:45:14.843-05:002018-01-07T17:45:14.843-05:00Thanks, Mary-Anne. Hoping to soon get back to my Maybelle Flower squares blanket and my BAMCAL (which is basically made up of fancy granny squares).Beckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16940604077427078249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4180424865669168363.post-57686963090231935702018-01-07T17:16:08.435-05:002018-01-07T17:16:08.435-05:00Sorry to hear about your wrist. I would have never thought of winding 2 yarns together....genius!!! I too like the effect or is affect? I can never remember. The color block cowl is gorgeous and those are the prettiest colors of yarn. Your square turned out great. You got a lot done this week considering your wrist problem. Aren't those cysts the kind where you lay on the floor and some drops a heavy weight (like a pile of books) on your wrist to pop the cyst? I hope you feel better so you can continue 'de-stashing'....all your projects are beautiful! Your openwork scarf is great the way the colours weave together. Breathing Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02482981001235740285noreply@blogger.com
