Here in Britain we are paying well over £5 a gallon now - for diesel it's £1.29 per LITRE. Heating oil has doubled in a year - and we thought the prices were terrifying last year. And we have a HUGE old rambling Welsh farmhouse . . . which is going to be very cold in consequence this winter!
