Wrapping it up...

Wrapping Christmas presents on Sunday afternoon while being entertained by old episodes of Dog The Bounty Hunter on DEFY TV,  pulled in with a cheap indoor antenna attached to a tiny TV in the bedroom.  I don't know how much of that is more than you wanted to know.

  1. You seem to be ahead of the game! What a mass of presents there. Do you enjoy wrapping?

    1. Only a little bit, Liz. And after a while I get pretty tired of it. I don't do anything creative - the most creative thing I sometimes do is cut tags out of old Christmas cards. Some of the paper we have is more than a decade old, I'm sure - maybe two decades! So there's a little bit of a sense of accomplishment when I use some of that up. :)

    1. Hmmm... this sounds like something you've possibly written about. I'm going to have to catch up on your blog to see. :)

    1. I do enjoy fun wrapping paper. But I don't remember the last time I bought any. I was in Hobby Lobby last night looking for something else, but they were cleaned out. Used to be you could buy wrapping paper deeply discounted in the early days after Christmas. I suppose HL discounts this kind of thing much earlier, though. I couldn't find what I wanted, so next year (if I'm looking for this thing) I must show up earlier in the month.

  5. I am the prototypical male wrapper: What can I manage to put into a bag?

    1. Ah yes... Last year I insisted Hubs help me wrap presents. It was a miserable experience. One that shall not be repeated. FWIW, I like cute or pretty bags, too. :)

    2. Becki, I have learned that some things that - at my age - there seems to be no value in mastering, of which wrapping is one of them.

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth. I seem to have a preference for snowmen - and the more old fashioned the designs look, the better. :)

  7. You've been busy! I've had that spread on my beds in past years. This year I sent food gifts from Harry and David. Made the season a lot easier for me.

    Merry Christmas.

    1. That comforter is so old... I have no idea when or where I purchased it. Every once in a while I try out new spreads or comforters, but none of them work well. Our bed is on risers, and I'm either going to have to lower it, or make a custom skirt to accommodate anything else I put on it. So far I've just bought and returned different things.
