“The Strife is o’er the battle done;
Now is the Victor’s triumph won;
Now be the Song of Praise begun.
Alleluia”
Now is the Victor’s triumph won;
Now be the Song of Praise begun.
Alleluia”
The words above (and the picture and caption) accompanied an announcement of Aunt Gloria's passing. We cannot physically attend the visitation and memorial service, but our hearts and prayers are with her family and other loved ones as precious moments are shared and Gloria's life is celebrated this weekend.
Hello, I came over from Charlotte's blog. I'm so sorry you lost your beloved Aunt Gloria. It is truly wonderful that she is with Jesus now. I'm sorry for your loss though. Hugs, Kathi
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a lovely, fun lady. We lost my dear Mom to cancer less than 6 mos ago and yes, as a believer it is not bitter. But I do miss her terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Hallelujah!
ReplyDeleteI have just lost a dear friend to cancer (I shared about Wanda on my blog), and another dear woman will probably be gone soon (I shared about Ann on my blog!) It is so sad to think of them not being on this earth anymore, but how awesome to think of them with their new bodies, and in no more pain!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of your Aunt.
It brought tears to my eyes as well!
God Bless.
You have my sincere sympathy in the loss of your Aunt.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your Aunt Gloria. But how wonderful the assurance that she's with Jesus and is completely healed.
