Yarn Along...

Finished!   My first crocheted linen stitch scarf.   I love the effect of this very simple crochet stitch.  If you're a Ravelry member, a link to the pattern can be found on my Ravelry project page.

In fact, I love it so much I started a second scarf immediately after finishing the first one:

The yarn is Loops & Threads Woolike.  It's a soft acrylic fingering-weight yarn, double stranded in these scarves - which makes for an easy self-fringe.  I may end up braiding the fringe on this second scarf.  I think that would be fun.

Check out other yarny creations this week at Ginny's Yarn Along.

    1. Thank you, Natalie. The gray (beginning edge) is a bit "stretched out". I may need to block the scarf to take care of that, but on the purple scarf I did something different with that edge to take care of that problem. I'll write about that when that scarf is finished (next week's yarn-along, no doubt). ;^)

  5. The red and black and gray is a great combo! I always love black and gray - and that is the perfect shade of red!

  9. Beautiful! I haven't crocheted up a scarf yet. (I think I did too many KNIT ones as they were the only thing I could figure out to KNIT.) How do I find your Ravelry page? I'd like to save the pattern...

    1. There should be a link (just before the first picture). You'll have to log-in to Ravelry to get to any information about the pattern, but the link should take you right to my project page. And on my project page is a link to the actual pattern. Let me know if this doesn't work for you and I can send you the link directly.
