The pattern is super simple, and made with contrasting colors the kitties stand out and make a cute design for a child or cat-lover. I'm hosting a CAL (from July 1 - September 30) using this pattern in Our Happy CAL group on Ravelry.
And that's all I've got this week. I think this may be my shortest post ever! It's been a busy week, what with the Fourth of July and several days of celebrating with different out-of-town friends, and I just didn't see much yarn time. So far, that seems to be how my summer is going...

Your color scheme is fun and it's neat to see those kickin' it kitties with their hanging paws.
ReplyDelete:) I love the way you describe things, Stefanie.
DeleteThose kitties are sooooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary-Anne!
DeleteI love your colour scheme Becki and the kitties are gorgeous and really do stand out in the contrasting colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ruth. Yes - the contrasting colors make all the difference in how well the kitties pop out. :)
DeleteBecki, that is the cutest! Please let me know when the CAL is going to start so I can join in and get some yarn! I want to do that one....it is so cute and I love the neon green!
ReplyDeleteWe started just last weekend, Sam. I edited my post above to make that clearer. The CAL runs July 1 - September 30. Only a few have begun so far and it's a go-at-your-own-pace sort of CAL, but this pattern is so easy to work, it will be easy to get a blanket finished in that time frame. Mine is child-sized and I think it might be finished within the next week - it just depends on whether my yarn holds out 'till I'm finished or I find myself having to buy another skein on the variegated gray yarn (that could hold things up).
DeleteThey are the cutest all lined up in a row! Thank you for sharing a wonderful pattern. Pat
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pat!
