Nature doing its thing...

Giving my back a break from weeding the strawberry patch I pulled up a chair and contemplated the nearby woodpile.

Nature's decomposers make interesting designs.

  1. Beautiful designs you have captured... happy greetings to you and lots of joy in your garden. I'm going to harvest rhubarb tomorrow and I'm making the first rhubarb cake this spring.
    Look forward.

  3. Becki, the textures of Nature are amazing. This had not shown up to me as much before I started hiking, but I am noticing it much more now.

    1. TB, my "hiking" has only consisted of trail walking in state or national forests, and we haven't done much of that in recent years, but I understand what you're saying. I always enjoy the pictures taken on your hikes.

    1. LOL! No energy for that! This wood is just a small representation of the trees we had removed last year. The largest pieces got carted away and we've given about this much wood to one of our sons.

  10. Your photos are additional proof that beauty can be found in anything if we just take the time to pay attention.
