  1. Looked like a lot of work for one nut.

  3. I love them like that. Raw. Just need to find a nut cracker that works better for arthritis. :)
Glad you got to enjoy them, Becki!
    Be safe and God bless.

    1. I understand, Linda. The nutcracker my husband used in the video is a little easier, but my hand strength is pretty abysmal and I have trouble cracking a really hard nut even with that one.

  4. You've reminded me that we haven't bought nuts like that in years. When both DH and I were growing up it was a Christmas-thing to have a big bag of them available to whoever wanted to spend time cracking them.

    1. Same here, I haven't done this recently, but we used to. Maybe working on a puzzle and cracking nuts together!

    2. Mary Anne, Hubs and I both remember growing up with a bowl full of nuts at Christmas time. We don't think to do it often, but when we do, it's kind of fun to do the hard work of getting a nut out of its shell.

    3. That's a great idea, Martha. Cracking nuts, together, though is a nice pastime all by itself.
