I'm on a roll...

Having my first Spicier Life blanket finished I decided to pick up my second one and see if I can get it finished off soon, too.  I had lost steam on these two blankets this summer, but now I'd just like to get 'em done!
Of course, this is going to mean lots more ends to weave in...

It's a chilly gloomy afternoon today, with nothing terribly pressing.  Seems like a good opportunity to knock out a bunch of rows of this one.

  1. Chilly, gloomy and snowing here so would really have liked to stay home. Instead we had to drive to a medical appt. for DH over an hour away. Gotta love that first snowstorm of the year (not)

    1. Oh no - I seriously dislike having to drive on snow. I take it, it was a safe trip. Hope your hubby is okay!

  2. What will you do once you have finished this one? Any other large projects in the idea bank?

    1. I have other WIPs that are hoping I start paying attention to them. But I think I want to start something new. Then again, I don't really know. I suspect what may happen is that I lose some crafting mojo. That seems to happen after focusing intently on something for a period of time. A sort of "burn out", I suppose. Or maybe I'll start making doilies again. I really enjoyed making those a couple of months ago...

  3. I wish I could be like you and start something and then finish it before I start something else. I know you might put things down but you always get back to it....not like me with a zillion WIP's! LOL! It's so pretty!

    1. Oh Sam, I have a number of WIPs that languish as new projects interest me. I don't typically take pictures of things if I've made no progress on them. I do tend to get to a point with every project, though, where I start to focus on it and finishing it, which may make it may appear that I'm a monogamous crafter. It's just a perception, though. Not reality. Now, to have so many different types of crafts going (like you do) I think is remarkable. And you actually work on all of them in a week's time. That kind of discipline eludes me.

  5. What a great blanket you will have in the end. It will make you smile every time you gaze upon it because you'll think about all the hard work you hooked for it.
