Most of today's haul is going to a young crafty friend. I think she'll enjoy all the miscellaneous crafty goodies.
Starting from the top left hand: a small quilted drawstring bag, 3 latch hooks, a floss or wool sorter, a package of ruffled lacy goodness and another length of ruffled lace wound 'round a piece of cardboard, a large bag of cotton fabric scraps, a bow maker, a pocket mending kit, 2 small bags of mini-pom poms, 2 bags of wooden beads, 2 bags of googly eyes, 7 bags of large beads, 4 wooded hearts, 1 lonely little Christmas ornament, a small plastic t-square and 2 protractors.
I'm already giving thought about how to continue this "decluttering". Not with a daily posting, but something that will still be meaningful and that maybe others would like to join, too.
Or not - and, of course, that's okay, too. 😉
Maybe that will be Saturday's post.
Day 29: 466 things gone
Your young friend is going to be so happy. She might even squeal a little. I too have been giving thought on how to continue this momentum. I seriously want to get my house to a stage where my children will not cringe each time they look at all our stuff. I do not want to post about it daily though as I don't think I can continue daily decluttering. Not with a couple major holidays coming upon us. If you think of something, let me know. You truly inspired me this month.
ReplyDeleteI have a post ready to go on Day 31 that will suggest an idea I have - and that I plan to do and will invite others to join me. It's a plan for keeping up the decluttering, but is more manageable, will more naturally fit into life, and one can easily come and go from it. I'm considering it the "next phase". Something more sustainable, but just as valuable, I think.
DeleteThings like those can spark a wave or creativity.
ReplyDeleteShe's a creative little girl. :)
DeleteI'm excited to hear your idea. I like making progress but it does take a bit out of my day and I have other things to do. Good job on yours today!
ReplyDeleteYes... wanting to take this decluttering to a new phase where it fits with the flow of life a little better.
DeleteI don't know of too many crafty young people who wouldn't love all of these. Would be such fun to see her excitement and even better to see what she makes!
ReplyDeleteA continuation of the decluttering - hmmm - do tell!
Will tell on Saturday. :)
DeleteI'm very excited to hear your idea and will very likely join you. And yes, crafty kids love receiving odds and ends of craft supplies and project ideas. I might just delve into my stash and give some of it as unique Christmas gifts!
