Day 15 - the halfway mark. Pretty exciting!
Not that my haul today is all that exiting, but still.... making progress!
See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you—you of little faith? - Matthew 6:28-30
Good for you! When we did the seasonal switchover a couple of weeks ago we ended up taking three bags of clothes to the thriftie. Many of them came from there in the first place. We aren't going anywhere and simply don't need as many clothes and with the weight loss we've accomplished a lot doesn't fit anymore. I've altered what I could but the rest we were happy to let go.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say I'm getting rid of clothes because of weight loss. ;^/
DeleteI think clothes are the easiest for me to remove from my life. I seldom get attached to any of my clothes. Purses are my downfall......oh, and yarn.
ReplyDeleteSometimes clothes are hard for me. These were pretty easy as they really didn't suit me for one reason or another. And Hubs' shirts just needed to go. Nice things got donated, worn things got turned into rags. I hope that counts.
DeleteI really need to go through the clothes in my loft there are some there I know I will never wear, you are doing great!
ReplyDeleteI need to do a deep purge. I doubt I'll get it done before this challenge is over, though that would certainly make for a good decluttering day this month.
DeleteGood haul! You are doing so well. Inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteI think clothes are the easiest to clean out.
